Fr. Marquette Garden and Statue preservation

The cleaning and polishing of Father Marquette took place on Saturday, September 9, 2022. We started cleaning Father Marquette in 2019. This was the first cleaning since 2010 and it took our crew 8 hours. The next cleaning accomplished in 2020 was a 6 hour job. This year our professional cleaner and the volunteer crew completed the project in 3 hours. It appears that our care of the statue is rewarding us with less maintenance and providing us the a monument to be proud of.
